asterisk-bristuff deprecation: what upgrade path ?

No, auto*foo my ass. Asterisk build-system (even in 1.4) is the stupidest I 
saw. The makefiles are created upstream and the identify the targets 
in "runtime". I still do not understand what the hell does the "configure" 
does, specially since one of the first targets by that makefile is running 
another configure - the menuselect configure.

It just does not make sense. Maybe I need to get drunk to understand this.

Again, works for me. I did not test the output "it compiles - ship it".
