Hi,

sorry for the very late reaction, but we've found a rather severe
problem in the 1.12.7 release and we think this shouldn't hit stable.
I now filed a bug report for this issue:
  - http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=452386

We hope to do a new upstream release soonish that will fix this. If the 
release is delayed, then we need to backport the patch.
