Come on, adding single lines to one configuration file asking to "load" 
(or "noload", in case of autoloading) modules can't be _that_ hard, for 
anyone -- at least for anyone trying to configure Asterisk.

It sure isn't harder than installing a dozen packages just to achieve 
basic PBX functionality.

Again, I'm open to a split that would be done for dependency reasons, 
just like asterisk-h323 is splitted. Maybe odbc, maybe postgres, not 
sure yet.

Splittting to 50 (or 40, or 30, or...) packages for "maintainance" 
reasons: over my dead body :-)
Just trying to be clear here, there's no point of discussing this further.
