Hi
Running zaptel_hardware on a certain (non-Debian) system here with
misdn installed, and latest Zaptel and a X100P card resulted with the
message: "This card should be using wcfxo, but is actually using
netjetpci" .
If I understand correctly, older Digium cards use the TigerJet PCI
chipset. And that is also used by various ISDN devices.
In 'modinfo hisax' I see, among others:
alias: pci:v0000E159d00000001sv*sd*bc*sc*i*
On that system, I see that netjetpci handles:
alias: pci:v0000E159d00000001sv*sd*bc*sc*i*
So both those modules try any device with PCI venodor/product IDs
E159/0001 . Whereas the drivers in Zaptel are a bit more specific:
wcfxo:
alias: pci:v00001057d00005608sv*sd*bc*sc*i*
alias: pci:v0000E159d00000001sv00008087sd*bc*sc*i*
alias: pci:v0000E159d00000001sv00008086sd*bc*sc*i*
alias: pci:v0000E159d00000001sv00008085sd*bc*sc*i*
wctdm:
alias: pci:v0000E159d00000001sv0000A901sd*bc*sc*i*
alias: pci:v0000E159d00000001sv0000A908sd*bc*sc*i*
alias: pci:v0000E159d00000001sv0000A801sd*bc*sc*i*
alias: pci:v0000E159d00000001sv0000A800sd*bc*sc*i*
alias: pci:v0000E159d00000001sv0000A8FDsd*bc*sc*i*
alias: pci:v0000E159d00000001sv0000A9FDsd*bc*sc*i*
alias: pci:v0000E159d00000001sv0000B119sd*bc*sc*i*
alias: pci:v0000E159d00000001sv0000B118sd*bc*sc*i*
alias: pci:v0000E159d00000001sv0000B1D9sd*bc*sc*i*
alias: pci:v0000E159d00000001sv0000B100sd*bc*sc*i*
alias: pci:v0000E159d00000001sv0000E159sd*bc*sc*i*
alias: pci:v0000E159d00000001sv0000A159sd*bc*sc*i*
wc1xxp:
alias: pci:v0000E159d00000001sv00006159sd*bc*sc*i*
So if both drivers are installed on the system, it is probably a matter
of luck who wins. (or which is listed in /etc/modules)
