Why? Indeed?

In fact I could think of more reasons to move ekiga to the pkg-voip, especially since the single upload of ekiga for 2008 was a NMU.

The gnome team haven't been showing it much love :-)

If someone from pkg-gnome is excited about voip then they certainly are free to work in pkg-voip :-)
