hello! there is a newer upstream version available, this is
with the one in debian unstable:

I too want linphone to connect via the vpn behind tap0, as
there is an openser router on the other end, which is setup in
linphone as "route" in sip preferences.

- linphone on startup first connects to the registrar via eth0
  and later sends call-invites via tap0 - this is a gross bug.
  it should use the proxy from the beginning.

- also linphone registers with the wrong local address - the
  one of the eth0 interface instead of the tap0 one! maybe the
  code just assumes the default gateway: instead the local
  interface to use should be determined by the route to the
  outbound proxy, as that is more specific.
