I set:

AST_DUMPCORE=yes
CORE_PATTERN='core.%p.%e.%t'

and /etc/init.d/asterisk set by default:

AST_DUMPCORE_DIR="/var/spool/asterisk"

and restarted Asterisk, naturally. I checked in "ps -Af f" that
Asterisk had indeed been started with -g.

Asterisk segfaulted: I have this in my syslog

but no corefile.

Please explain to me how I can beat my system into giving me
corefile.
