I agree that the path could (should?) be /usr/src/dhadi. However in
real terms, as each upgrade will replace the previous one, I can't see
how it makes too much difference. It might add additional maintenance
overhead however.

I agree that dkms.conf could be generated at source build time, and
there is perhaps additional maintenance attached to having a flat one,
the bulk of dkms enabled packages do seem to rely on a flat one from
what I have seen. I can certainly see merit attached to a generated one.
Unless i'm mistaken, every module needs a mention as a base for the dkms
script to rebuild. Unless you are suggesting that the dkms rebuild
process will handle this automatically. If this is the case, then i can
agree.
