You don't need glibc support for timerfd; there are only 3 system
calls needed, and they're trivial (ie glibc doesn't need to add
anything around the syscall).

A 2.6.25 kernel is all you need, and if your glibc doesn't have the
syscalls needed, a local definition will do.
