And this also brings the question of: what format of sound files
do we ship (in the upcoming 1.6 package. I don't intend to touch the
Lenny package).
Or do we just provide a downloading script for other formats? What about
updates, then?
Useful formats:
gsm: 
  Pros: relatively small, has been around, currently in the tarball
  Cons: Decoding it still requires some CPU time, Relatively bad
    quality.
wav:
  Pros: Easy to play in any player. No ral transcoding needed.
  Cons: The largest.
ulaw/alaw:
  Pros: Smaller than wav, though not as much as gsm, and with little if
    at all quality loss.
