I'd like to move forward with Asterisk 1.6.1.
I have a package of asterisk 1.6.1. asterisk-addons has now also been
upgraded.
I'm looking at the other reverse dependencies:
Sound files:
I want to leave those for later. In the worst base their layout,
dependencies and such will need to be adjusted.
asterisk-capi:
Latest version in Squeeze is 1.1.2 that should, according to its release
message, work with Asterisk 1.6.1 . I'll be looking into it next to see
that there are no problems except rebuilding.
asterisk-oh323:
Acording to popcon people actually use it. I would really like to use
this oportunity to get rid of that package (given that we already have
two other Asterisk h323 channels, one of them does not depend on
openh323, and one of them actively maintained and actively moving to
support h323plus).
Failing that, I'll see what I can do about converting it to work with
Asterisk 1.6.1 . Is there a public tree somewhere? This project looks
dead.
destar:
I haven't tested it yet, but I suspect quite a few things won't work
with the newer syntax. If there are just a few I can fix them. Though
upstream is quite silent about it.
pyasterisk, libasterisk-perl:
Both use published interfaces and are not supposed to break.
