We haven't had an upload of srtp to unstable since 2007, there have been serious bug reports with no response since 2008.  There has been little/ no maintenance for a number of years.

Removing packages from unstable is a good way to gauge interest as people do get excited when their package gets removed. Glad to hear you are interested in your package!  The package is still hosted in svn.debian.org.

By all means please fix the RC bugs and then we can reintroduce into unstable.
