No progress in this bug report since the last message. The patches make
sense. I suspect the reporter has some other issues (for starters: what
version of Asterisk allows the use of ISDN phones? does the reporter use
1.8?)

Anyway, I opened https://issues.asterisk.org/view.php?id=18169 to
hopefully get feedback from others.
