Dear Sebastian,

Does the present version in testing, 2.0.0-4, fix this?  If so, please
close this bug.

If not, please use wireshark or tcpdump to get a traffic log of what
passed over the wire.

To see how you could get a one second call, and yet have it in the fax
call setup stage, consider what happens in T.38:
1. Establish call
2. Switch to T.38 mode in the media path after establishment.

So something *might* be going on in step 2.  The wireshark output lets us see.
