Thanks for bringing it to our (i.e. Debian) attention.
Do this issue affect older releases of uCommon than 6.0.x? If not, then
Linphone in Debian seems unaffected, as that package uses its own
convenience copy of ortp seemingly not linking against the separately
packaged uCommon.
FYI uCommon is maintained outside of the Debian VOIP Team.
Easiest way to reach the Debian maintainers of a package is to email
<sourcepackage>@packages.debian.org - e.g. ucommon at packages.debian.org .
The better way to reach us regarding bugs (and "please update to a newer
upstream release" even if no actual "bug" exist is to us a so-called
"wishlist" bug) is to file a bugreport:
http://www.debian.org/Bugs/Reporting
...all that said, ideally you as upstream need only release new code and
we will track your releases and eventually get around to package it.
Concretely I updated uCommon to 6.0.4 earlier today (before I reached
above email in my INBOX).
Regards,
- Jonas
