The extended description starts with an incomplete sentence:

This seems to suggest the package contains the library itself. I suggest:

> spandsp is a low-level signal processing library that modulates and demodulates signals commonly used in telephony, such as the "noise" generated by a fax modem or DTMF touchpad.

Other binary packages start with the same incomplete sentence.
