join request

Dear list,

I would like to help out packaging asterisk and asterisk related
packages. There's already been some discussion with Tzafrir, but I'm
not sure where to start now and what to do to move forward as I'm
quite new to packaging for the debian archive.

I do have experience with debian packaging for asterisk in general
(for my employer, not for the debian archive). I just don't know what
to do next.

Could anyone give me a bump in the right direction and perhaps suggest
what should be the first thing I do? I already created a guest account
on Alioth and pressed the "request to join" button.
