Bug#742506: fails to send any outbound media on non-TURN sockets

When reTurn client sockets are used in an application where TURN is not
always required (e.g. with ICE), the TURN socket object is still used
for sending/receiving with a non-TURN peer.

In these situations, it fails to send out any media stream.

This bug has been observed when using the reConServer application, which
relies on the reTurn-client sockets
