Builds of asterisk-testsuite on several architectures (armel, armhf,
powerpc, ppc64el, and s390x) all failed because mkstring produced no
output within sbuild's inactivity timeout.  Given that this timeout
was over two hours on all affected architectures, I presume mkstring
managed to hang or enter an infinite loop.  Could you please take a
look?
