Ok, so to break that down into steps:

a) copy the relevant stuff from the testing (jessie) branch changelog
file into the bpo branch changelog

b) add the new bpo changelog entry, with details of any bpo-specific
changes (there are none for this particular upload)

c) use the option "-v$old_version_in_bpo"

Just doing (a) and (b) or just doing (b) and (c) isn't enough
