libsipXtapi bugfixes

Hi,

I recently spent a lot of time debugging what used to be libsipXtapi 2.9.1 (from around 2008).
Comparing the code I'm working on and what's currently libsipXtapi (3.3.0~test17-1) I still see a lot of similarities. I have made an attempt to feed a fix back to the Ubuntu sipXtapi package via launchpad but haven't gotten any response yet. Before I spend more time comparing sources and preparing further patches I would like to know if there is any interest on the other end or if this package is considered dead.
