Bug#787392: Opening an ITP for ring

Hello,

After thinking about it and discussing with my colleagues, we consider
that Ring is more than just a rename.

It may be best to open an ITP for ring and remove sflphone from Debian
when Ring is available. Ring is not a drop-in replacement for sflphone
so we think its best to introduce it independently of sflphone. sflphone
users shouldn't necessarily have it replaced by ring on their machines.

I am going to open an ITP for ring, note the bugnumber here, and close
this bug, unless you oppose.

Cheers,
