I suppose that Lintian gives you a warning about a missing watch file.
Your commit didn't fix the issue. It only pretends the issue is fixed.

If you want to tell lintian not to warn you about this because you know
there's no point, please use the lintian overrides file (see
dh_lintian(1), but specifically, add a relevant line to
debian/source/lintian-overrides with the text of the message. It would
be useful to add a comment above it to explain why you overrode it).

Alternatively, leave the warning message and wait for someone else to
fix it (if it needs fixing). At least it will be a known issue.
