Package: asterisk
Version: 1:13.12.2~dfsg-1
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
* enter sudo asterisk -r to enter the console
* type sip (or any other input)
Expected:
* console shows "sip"
Actual behavior: It looks like this:
Asterisk 13.12.2~dfsg-1, Copyright (C) 1999 - 2014, Digium, Inc. and
others.
Created by Mark Spencer <markster at digium.com>
Asterisk comes with ABSOLUTELY NO WARRANTY; type 'core show warranty'
for details.
This is free software, with components licensed under the GNU General

under
certain conditions. Type 'core show license' for details.
=========================================================================
Connected to Asterisk 13.12.2~dfsg-1 currently running on myhost (pid =
8901)
myhost*CLI> \U+0F73\U+0F69\U+0F70
sometimes after typing return it is possible to enter a normal command
but with the next line the effect reappears.
So the console is nearly unusable.
