I have now taken a more detailed look at the package. Besides updating
the symbols file, I would also like to fix all lintian warnings, which
is hindered in part by my unfamiliarity with cdbs, in the same way as
your unfamiliarity with short-form dh would hinder your maintenance.

If I fully commit to maintaining the package such that you do not have
to worry about it anymore, would you still welcome a migration to dh?
