backport 1.10.1 to trusty

Peter,

going through the changelog it seems that twinkle versions higher than
1.9.0+git20160321 depend on qml-module-qtquick2.  That's not available
in trusty.  Is it somehow possible to build the latest releases of
twinkle without depending on qml-module-qtquick2 by sacrificing some
functionality?  I'm thinking along the lines of some configure flag to
turn qtquick2 support off.
