If that is really needed, then the ship has already sailed: January 6 
freeze effectively froze around December 25 due to the 10 days of 
"sinking in" in unstable before getting even considered for testing. :-(

If, however, the upcoming package do not involve NEW approval, then 
there is still time until the February deep freeze (again minus 10 
days!).

Also, if upcoming package does not make it in time, there is the option 
of requesting an exception from the release managers.
