Outdated Linphone packets

Hi Debian’s team,

Our company, Belledonne Communications, develops the open source VoIP softphone named Linphone. I saw on your website packages.debian.org that the Linphone packets available were quite old (versions 3.6. and 3.12.).
Two years ago, we have developed a brand-new Linphone app for Linux, which is now version 4.1.1, and will soon be version 4.2.

Could you please tell me how we could update the packets available for Debian? Several users contacted us to report issues about version 3.X; but we do not support it anymore and we would be glad that they can use the latest version.

It is actually also the case for Liblinphone, the cross-platform library on which Linphone is based.

I would be thankful for any advice that you can provide me with.

Thank you in advance,

Elisa Nectoux
