Searching for that error message leads me to believe that this is
probably a wayland issue. Does it work correctly under X? What
desktop environment are you using?
Having the output of
sed -n '/[[:space:]]\/\(usr\|lib\).*[.]so.*/s@^[^/]\+/@/@p' \
/proc/$(pidof linphone)/maps|sort|uniq
could tell us more.
