asterisk in stretch

Hello PKG VoIP Team,


I am preparing a security update for asterisk 1:13.14.1~dfsg-2+deb9u5 
and pjproject in stretch as part of LTS. While going through upstream 
source I understand that during build asterisk pulls pjproject then 
patches it, build. In Debian build we also depend on libpjproject-dev 
and there is 'third-party/pjproject' as well even though we repacked. 
Can you please help me to understand how pjproject is embedded in 
asterisk.
