The downside is that switching to it will remove support of some
Junghanns-like BRI cards. I'll keep them supported for now in patches as
they are trivial, but I really don't have the hardware to test it.
Right now Digium seems slightly better maintained than the osmocom fork,
but that fork seems to add some interesting hardware (and recent
hardware is probably more useful).
Furthermore, they are currently based on Debian, and I'd like to make it
simpler for them to reduce the diff from Debian (although I have not
seen such an effort from their side).
So, anyone who actually uses:
* Junghanns-like cards (including OpenVox BRI)
* ZapHFC-based single-port PCI BRI cards
* OSMOCom E1 USB device
Please speak up!
