Dear Maintainer,
*** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***
* What led up to the situation?
Attempted to use linphone-cli. Command linphonec.
* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)?
Checked to find ~/.linphonerc .
* What was the outcome of this action?
~/.linphonerc is not present before executing linphonec and still not present
after executing linphonec.
* What outcome did you expect instead?
According to man linphonec, ~/.linphonerc should be created at the first
execution of linphonec. In fact there is a ~/.config/linphone/linphonerc.
Probably created by the graphical version linphone-desktop.
man linphonec and /usr/share/doc/linphone-cli/README should be
consistent with reality. Ie. should state that linphone-cli doesn't create
the configuration but it can be created with the desktop version.
Then the configuration can be invoked using the -c parameter.
linphonec -c ~/.config/linphone/linphonerc
