Thanks a lot for reporting this issue.

Debian generally, and the asterisk package specifically, uses Debbugs
for issue tracking: https://www.debian.org/Bugs/Reporting

(some teams use the gitlab issue tracker for some things as well, but
if in doubt then for Debian is it always safe to use debbugs).

Regardless, thank you for reporting to this mailinglist - I have not yet
found time to look closer at it, but seems indeed a bug in our
packaging.  You need not do anything further: I will apply your bugfix
next time I look at the asterisk package.
