Cool. Please do so, preferably as part of a
debian/how-to-maintain-Asterisk.rst in the Salsa repository so people
can _find_ it.
If we spend our energy on getting Asterisk into Trixie, then I'm
(mostly) OK with deferring further discussion about improved
upstream-packaging and general git-ification to Forky, as undoubtedly
will the rest of Debian – as soon as tag2upload goes mainstream (as far
as anything "mainstream" can be said to exist in our community when
packaging is concerned …) I fully expect another go-around or two on
d-devel. :-P
