I had done it for myself and figured I might as well share the result.
My "Feel free to use what is useful :-)" was meant literally, which also
entails that you're free to use it (or not) *when* it's convenient.
The latest update actually came forth as I wanted to update/fix some
patches, but by then the 634 build had moved from 'stable' to
'archive/stable' which would mean I needed to change d/watch again ...
and then undo the change again afterwards ... so it was just easier to
go for the version which was available in 'stable' (735).

My patches have only been compile tested. I have installed the client on
my PC and started it, but that's the only runtime 'testing' I did.
