This requires action from maintainers of the Asterisk Debian package.

Sorry that I replied to you about that - you are so active here (which
is great!) that I mistakenly thought if you as a maintainer :-)

Please do note that you need not be a formal Debian developer to step
up and help maintain Debian packages. Formal membership is required
only for the final step of formally releasing packages into Debian.
