Probably hashing, in whichever tool generates the documentation. Some 
scripting languages don't return mappings / dictionary entries / 
take-your-name in the order they were added; the hashes used to map 
entries to map slots usually use add a random seed internally, to 
prevent some classes of DoS attacks.

I recommend sorting.
