GTA 6 Pre-Orders Officially Open June 25, 2026 (One Week From Today)
Rockstar Games just posted on X/Twitter and Instagram today, confirming what fans have been waiting 3 years to hear: GTA 6 pre-orders go live next Thursday, June 25, 2026, across digital storefronts and select physical retailers.

“Pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto VI will officially begin on June 25 on digital storefronts and at other select retailers. Check out the official cover art, also available as downloadable artwork.”
The post broke gaming Twitter within minutes. Rockstar’s silence since November 2025’s delay announcement is officially over.
What this confirms
November 19, 2026 launch is locked in. Taking pre-orders 5 months before release only happens when companies are confident. After two previous delays (May 2025 → May 2026 → November 2026), Rockstar wouldn’t open pre-orders unless the date is solid.
Marketing has officially begun. Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick told investors marketing would start “this summer.” Summer technically begins June 21. Rockstar hit the timing perfectly.

Rockstar revealed the box art for the first time. It follows GTA’s classic collage formula:
Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos front and center (the Bonnie & Clyde protagonists)
Boobie Ike and Raul Bautista (supporting characters confirmed)
Helicopter, speedboat, motorcycle, sports car (the vehicles you’ll be driving)
An alligator lounging in the middle (Leonida is Florida-coded)
Pastel pink/orange sky (peak Vice City aesthetic)
Florida-inspired setting with palm trees, beaches, and neon signs
The art is available as a free downloadable wallpaper on Rockstar’s website right now.
The price question (still unanswered)
Rockstar did NOT reveal pricing today, but industry speculation has been circulating for months:
$79.99 — Standard premium AAA price (most likely)
$99.99 — Possible “GTA Online Edition” with bonus content
$149.99-$249.99 — Rumored Collector’s Edition tiers
Reality check: GTA V launched at $59.99 in 2013. Inflation alone justifies $80. Take-Two CEO has repeatedly said the company will “explore pricing models” for GTA 6.
The full price reveal is expected June 25 alongside pre-order launch.
