Package: webkit
Version: 0~svn27674-1
Severity: wishlist
Hi,
Currently, webkit is categorized into the "web" section. If webkit
provides some browser like iceweasel does, that section would be
appropriate. However, webkit actually provides a rendering engine and
other tools such as epiphany-browser and liferea use it. So, IMHO it is
good to categorize webkit into "devel" or "libs", like xulrunner
categorized into "devel". I think packages in e.g. "devel" and "libs"
may get higher priority when built with the buildd network and it
prevents dependent packages from waiting so long, but I'm not sure.
This is just a wishlist and if it's not a good idea, please close it.
Many thanks,
-nori
