There are some problems with css of visited links depending on whether
they are opened in the same tab:
 - open a link on the same tab and then go back, the link will appear as
visited;
 - open a link on an other tab or window, it will not be marked as visited
on the parent tab;
 - open a new tab/window, go to a page on which there is a link you've
   visited previously, it will not appear as visited.

I'm not sure about the package but this happens with Epiphany and Midori (
