Epiphany currently has "Debian" in the user agent string. That will
stop working in 3.28 without this patch.

It looks like Debian's Chromium and Firefox ESR do not currently have
Debian in their user agent strings. Ubuntu and Fedora do. Ubuntu wants
the user agent string to include Ubuntu, even if you decide that
Debian doesn't want to identify itself.

As for whether it makes sense for Debian, I guess you have to decide
whether it's more useful to be able to see how popular Debian is on
websites that report OS statistics (like Wikipedia) or whether it's
more useful to hide that info to make it a bit tougher for third
parties to identify our users (of course, website owners already know
the IP address of every visitor).

Thanks,
