Thank you for testing surf and providing feedback.
I can reproduce the issue you described. On the site you mentioned the sound
is also stuttering for me (1-2 times per second), though it works fine on
other sites like YouTube.
And it also does not occur with surf 0.7 (which is based on the older
webkit(1)).
I was also able to observe the issue with other webkit2gtk-based
"browsers" (liferea). There the sound is also stuttering.
So the issue seems to be related to the webkit engine.
(surf is only a small "wrapper" around webkit. Rendering and other stuff
like audio/video playback is performed by the webkit engine.)
I'm forwarding your report to the Debian bug tracker.
