It was discussed in the debian-devel list.

The disadvantage is that tracker won't be able to automatically group
the packages with a single team address but that downside is not
relevant here.

As an alternative, you can use the tracker team email address but the
huge disadvantage there is that it is not yet possible for any one to
email the tracker email address.
