Hi, this has nothing to do with Flatpak or Snap.

WebKit does uses bubblewrap to isolate its processes for security
reasons, and one consequence of that is that xdg-desktop-portal-gtk is
needed for proper font rendering.

This affects Evolution as well, it was actually with Evolution that the
problems was originally identified, see here:

If this brings a lot of additional dependencies then I can turn it
into a recommendation, I didn't have that impression when I added the
dependency but I can reconsider.
