Hello, I tried cherry-picking (and rebasing/commenting some parts) of the following upstream commits

and I can see that the riscv64 build is now again fine.

Please if possible consider cherry-picking them in Debian, if not (since riscv64 is not release architecture),
I'm pretty sure on next upstream release they won't be needed anymore anyway :)
