I got a response from them,
"@mpanhans @praveen @WebKitGTK We are considering as an option to enable
building WebRTC support by default using GstWebRTC in the upcoming
2.52.x stable series in Sprint next year, and shipping the needed
additional sources in release tarballs. It won't be perfect, sites may
or may not work, but then we would continue improving from there onwards.
Again, I am not saying it will happen for sure; but we (the WebKit GTK
and WPE port maintainers) have been discussing the option, so it might
happen."
