That unfortunately was very counterproductive since the package is
still in Debian Experimental and I now need to reopen all these bug
reports.

Could you please refrain from doing so if the packages removed from
Unstable are still in Debian Experimental? (Please tell if there's
package, maybe a pseudo-package against which I can file a bug report
for this issue.)
