Package: python-wicd
Version: 1.7.4+tb2-6
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

*** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***

After upgrading, I lost my wicd packages and wanted to reinstall those. Python 2.7.18 breaks it.

See terminal session snippet:

After downgrading to 2.7.16-1 I could reinstall wicd and its dependencies.

Upgrading to python2 2.7.18 breaks wicd packages.

   * What led up to the situation?
apt dist-upgrade installed new python2 version and removed wicd packages
   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?
downgrading of all relevant python-based dependencies to 2.7.16-1
   * What was the outcome of this action?
wicd could be installed again, ll is running
