I recently upgraded my two Sarge amd64 servers from the old unofficial
packages to the packages available from backports.org.  Let me say that
I am impressed with how well everything has gone.  I had only one slight
hiccup related to the way I had configured things with the old packages.
But, once I had figured out and solved the problem (which took only a
few minutes), the upgrade finished nicely.  The machines have been
running will since then without any problems.
