as long as we only work with the debian directory we can also use the testing 
tree, because it's 3.0.1 + some minor bugfixes (but no real changes). At 
least in the moment testing is just used for more or less critical fixes.

sure... if I have uploaded my version I will write some more things down that 
comes to my mind about what might be intressting to have a look at.
